Dreampool by *TheSilentOne90:iconTheSilentOne90:

raising her hand
water runs off
the slim fingers
her wrist is dotted with droplets
as is the rest of her body
she is feeling at her highest
and she climbs out of the pool
wanting to dive back into the cool depths
as soon as possible
she climbs up onto the diving board
ever graceful
jumps
and her body slices through the air cleanly
splitting the water as easily as the air
and her stomach barely scrapes the bottom
as she shoots upward towards the air
as gracefully as she dived
her head breaks the surface
and she gasps
filling her lungs
with precious air
before she dives again
to dance beneath the water
until she wakes beneath the warm sun
laying upon the soft sand
as she sits up
sand falls from her shoulder-blades
she stands upon slim, graceful legs
looking at the water
she shades her eyes
and walks towards the water
until the level reaches her waist
she breathes in deep
and lowers herself
so the water covers her chest
the water is cool
calming
friendly
and she walks out
until she can comfortably put her head below
she glides through the water with a dolphin's grace
never noticing she comes up less often
as her body makes subtle changes
allowing her to stay under for longer periods of time
she only learns of her new ability
as her arms and legs shrink
she tries to look at her body
and she panics
but the water calms her quickly
she feels the fur growing
and knows her body is transforming into that of an otter
she quickly pops up and takes a breath
and dives playfully
loving the otter-form more than the human
effectively becoming
one of the sea
the water
herself

You're welcome! :aww:

The transition of shape, and then of composition (human to otter, then to water), while the girl retains her own identity throughout, is quite interesting. Kudos on that. :)

When in a High School classroom, you should never hear the teacher utter the phrase, "Take that backpack off of your head and remove those pencils from your nostrils."=Abfc
