I'm now a year older and a year closer to being dead. Huzzah.

I'm leaving TSO90 for good, maybe checking it out every once in a while. I'll leave YOU to find who I am now.

Have you ever found it a little odd that "high" is under "Daily Needs" when you're looking through the "mood" emotes?
It's really weird. And tbh, they need a 'meh' emote. That's what I need.

Oh yeah, I haven't mentioned presents. I got myself a 16-piece box of Godiva chocolates. Twenty-two bucks out of my pocket, but tbh, it was worth it. Although not all of it. I'd say the 16-box should've been more like, oh....say.... sixteen dollars? Sigh.
Mom got me a print of this amazing painting we saw in an art store, an iTunes gift card (which has already been spent
From the paternal grandparents: a shirt, two books, and my great-grandmother gave me this BEAUTIFUL dichroic glass pendant on a six- or seven-strand necklace of gold seed beads. It's definitely one of my favorite pieces of jewelery now.
From other family: My favorite cousins/aunt/uncle gave me a wrapped square of Godiva dark chocolate and $20. I haven't gotten anything from other parts of the family and I'll be updating on my *other* account when I do get things.
From Dad and his fiancee: A Mr. Rogers quote book, a black/white silk short-robe from Chinatown DC, and a "Writer's Remedy" magnetic letter set from the Newseum.
From friends: A few calls, and my best friend gave me a necklace (totally beautiful, I'll have to post pics of it, lol.) and a rhinestoned 4GB jump drive. Which'll be useful next year.

I wanted to put something here. I can't remember anymore. Dammit.
Well. Here's random art-related news. I taught my only younger cousin to cross-stitch and I have at least three projects that I'm working on right now. Lately I've been drawing these odd pictures, and writing poetry. And in case you were wondering, the title of this journal roughly plays off of Europe's The Final Countdown. I was bored.

Over the course of the last four weeks or so, I've managed to tie more knots into my life than I have in the past four YEARS. I think.
I managed to fall, if not in love, then in 'like' with a guy who I may or may not have known since last year. All I know is that whatever happened, happened FAST. We met on Monday. By Tuesday, we were starting to flirt. By Wednesday, we were REALLY hardcore flirting.
And the worst part is, he lives over a thousand miles away from where I live for most of the year. Not just that, however. My dad is moving from DC (around where the guy is) to Tennessee. My love life? It's over.

Are you out of your Vulcan mind?
Music is life. The end.
I don't need romance as long as I have music. Maybe if I keep saying it, it will come true...
